To gain a better understanding of the fast evolving Chinese luxury market, Albatross Global Solutions partnered with Ruder Finn Asia – one of the world’s largest independent public relations firms – for the second consecutive year, to conduct a market survey among high-profile Chinese consumers: the China Luxury Forecast 2010.
The China Luxury Forecast 2010 reflects the opinion of more than 1,100 high-profile consumers from Mainland China, Hong-Kong and Taiwan. Major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong are of course well represented, as well as tier-2 cities as they represent an increasing share of the luxury market development, so as to give a comprehensive view of the Chinese market.
Through the analysis of consumers’ confidence, their purchasing power, behavior and intentions as well as the information channels that influence their purchase decision process, the report aims to help marketers better understand the prevailing behaviors among Chinese consumers and the foreseeable trends in luxury consumption over the next year.
